[Abk. für Digital Audio Extraction], das direkte Auslesen von Audiodaten auf die Festplatte eines Computers. DAE kann entweder Hardware-mäßig in einem Gerät implementiert sein (z. B. CD-Brenner) oder wird per Software realisiert.
